Uzbekistan has recently approved its National Environmental Strategy until 2030.

The government openly recognizes the challenges associated with industrial growth and waste generation, while setting a clear course toward a green economy and stricter environmental control.

But how can the economy continue to grow without harming nature?

The answer lies in deep industrial modernization.

SpunLeks’ contribution to this strategy is the transition of hygiene material production from imported petrochemical raw materials to renewable domestic resources. Using an advanced German Trützschler hydroentanglement line, we process local cotton, minimizing the carbon footprint associated with transportation and eliminating chemical pollution during fabric production.

We prove that the industry of the new Uzbekistan can be highly productive, profitable, and at the same time fully safe for the country’s ecosystem.
